Website Design - Step 1

YOUR DOMAIN NAME

• This is the web address your customers will remember and type in to look up your website. This cost is $20/year.

• If you have a specific name, I can look it up to see if that domain is available. If it’s not, we can usually come up with a slight variation to be as close as possible. I’ll link this directly to your site so you don’t have to do anything beside choosing what you’d like your domain name to be.

Photographs

• Please create a shared Google drive folder (or if you have your favorite photos stored elsewhere, that’s fine too!) and share a link with me.

• This folder can be as detailed as you like. If you want to separate Seniors, Families, Newborns, Portraits, and Home page favorites or just dump them all in one big folder and I’ll pick.

• I have access to Apples stock photography bank if there’s something special you have in mind to include.

LOGO

• Do you have a company logo you’re happy with?

• If so, please include high resolution files of your logo with your photographs.

Pricing

Investment is $35/hr for all website or graphic design time.

I’d say website development average is somewhere between 4-8 hours ($140-280) of set up time, depending on revisions and how organized the initial information is sent over.

I like to say I’m a good ‘in between’ web designer. I enjoy setting up a new site and making it look pretty, while empowering you to own the site and feel comfortable making updates. I’m always available by email or phone. Clients frequently text with questions and I’m happy to take a quick peek at your site to see what’s going on. I’ll respond with a text or record a video of what to do if there are multiple steps that may be confusing.

I know you have a lot of options for designing your website. Allow yourself to get other quotes and choose someone you feel comfortable partnering with to make your unique brand come alive.

Deposit

The next step is placing a deposit of $100. The deposit will be subtracted from the total cost at the end of the project. Payments available through PayPal or Venmo.
